The paper studies the climax of Pride and Prejudice,two interesting proposing chapters.By comparing Wang Keyi and Sun Zhili＇s Chinese versions,the paper points out Sun Zhili＇s version is successful from the perspective of wording,sentence and discourse structures.So it arrives at the conclusion that the latter reproduces the irony and humor in the original style.Especially through people＇s dialogue,it demonstrates vividly their distinctive characters and totally different marriage conceptions.Meanwhile,Sun Zhili combines domestication and foreignization strategies in order to be faithful to the original text.As a result,the version wins great success and the distinguished translator leads the readers into a fascinating world of the original text.
