摘要
母语的负迁移影响并制约了学生英语表达水平的提高,基于概念隐喻理论的隐喻能力概念的提出为培养学生的英语思维能力提供了新途径。隐喻思维能力培养有助于学生理解词的隐喻义,理解语篇结构和学习英语文化,进而有助于提高学生的综合语言应用能力。
The negative transfer of Chinese has constrained the improvement of Chinese students' English proficiency.Based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory,the concept of metaphoric competence thus proposed provides a new approach to cultivating students' ability of thinking in English.Nurturing metaphoric competence is helpful to students' comprehending expressions' metaphoric meanings,grasping textual structure and learning English culture,which can enhance students' comprehensive English competence.
