英汉指示照应对比研究及其在大学英语教学中的应用

The Comparative Study of Demonstrative Reference and It's Application in College English Teaching

作为衔接手段,指示照应在英汉语篇中都存在。然而,由于英汉语言本身及文化的不同,二者在使用指示照应的差别非常明显。通过对大学英语综合教程第四册中的若干文章进行中英文对比分析,总结出英汉语言中的指示照应在语篇衔接功能上的异同,从而指导学生对文章内容更深层的理解和提高其阅读、写作和翻译的综合能力。

As a means of cohesion,demonstrative reference exists both in English and Chinese.Due to the differences between English and Chinese,the demonstrative references used in the two languages are distinctly different.By means of comparative analysis on some sample texts in the book of College English（integrated course four）,this paper contrasts the different uses of the demonstrative references on cohesion in the two languages,helping students to understand the texts and improve their integrative competence of reading,writing and translating.
