This paper expounds the development history of the monitoring recording device for train running,and taking Daigou Locomotive Depot under Datong-Zhungeer railway Company of Shenhua Zhungeer Energy Limited Liability Company as an example,introduces the using state of the monitoring recording device for train running from two aspects of the responsibility-division management of the monitoring recording device in locomotive depot and the operation of LKJ—2000 type monitoring recording device in exceptional cases.
