摘要
医学院校开设新闻英语选修课程是一种新的尝试。为了解学生对本门课程的看法，并据此改进课程教学模式，使其更加科学合理，对北京大学医学部选修该课程的149名学生进行了问卷调查。学生表达了选修本门课程的动机以及对教学效果等诸多方面的评价，并对新闻英语课程的教学目的、教学内容以及课堂活动提出了改进建议。
To rationalize the teaching process of English news course for student of non-English major, a survey among the 149 students who took the course at Peking University Health Science Center were conducted. Students＇ attitudes toward English news and evaluation of the course had been collected and accordingly some suggestions was raised on how to improve the teaching model of English news course, hoping to contribute to the teaching of optional English courses for medical students.
