摘要
本文以3年的培训实践为基础,探索多元文化社会大环境中提高住院医师综合运用英语能力的途径。根据培训前的评估结果,逐步确定了一条以“听”为基础、“说”为主线,课堂外以“读”、“写”、“译”作为重要的辅助与补充的路线来实现预期的教学目标,即以语言为基础、以文化为导向、实现语言与文化能力的同步提高。同时,总结了培训取得的成效及其存在的问题,提出了改进的建议。
Based on a three-year-training experience, the paper probed into a feasible approach to the cultivation of practical English competence among physicians in a muhicultural society. In accordance with the result of a pre-training assessment, we decided on a guideline of focusing on the training of listening and speaking abilities with the training of reading, writing and translation as supplementary, aiming at realizing the goal of improving language and culture competence at once with fluent language as the basis and multi-culture as the guide. The success and lessons drawn from the training were presented here. The paper concluded the problems that still existed and raised some suggestions to solve the problems.
