With the social development and human progress, cultivating innovative talents for our country is the urgent requirement of constructing innovative country. This article discusses the higher engineering education in China＇s current situation and problems of talent training, Analyses the future career orientation of college students, the differences of the importance of knowledge in recognition between school and society. Describes the purpose and function of engineering introduction based on great projects. The Training mode of the higher engineering education is also discussed. It points out that the higher engineering education sources help students build a large project concept and engineering capabilities.
