摘要
大学英语在由基础英语向ESP英语转移的过程中开设一门分科英语以取代原来的大学综合英语非常必要和可行。论文界定了其定义和内容,阐述了分科英语教学的理论基础,并就如何开展分科英语教学进行了详细的探讨。
The paper argues that discipline-based English plays an important role in the process of the shift of college English teaching from General English to ESP. Based on its definition, theory and necessity, the paper fully discusses the teaching of discipline-based English.
