The Educated Youth Down to the Countryside Movement formed a climax across all over the country during the Cultural Revolution,so this paper examines it from the aspect of social psychology and explores their social mental state when they took part in this movement,then reveals its historical inevitability to end.Therefore,it may provide the useful enlightenment and lessons for the present youth movement from the social mental state of The Educated Youth Down to the Countryside Movement.
