Vocational English has been an important part of public English course in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,strengthening vocational English construction is an inevitable trend of public English course reform in higher vocational colleges.This paper explores vocational English in terms of property,course design and teaching principle and studies the feasibility of carrying out multi-type English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
