独立学院是我国高等教育体制、机制和模式改革创新的重要成果,但在其发展过程中,也面临诸多问题。2008年2月,教育部出台了《独立学院设置与管理办法》,从当年4月开始,独立学院进入五年的过渡期。独立学院的转设与改革存在着一些棘手问题,教育主管部门及独立学院需要加以科学分析、认真解决,保持独立学院良好的发展势头。

The independent college is an important result of the system, mechanism and pattern of our country＇ s higher education ; but in its developing course it still faces many questions. In the Febrary of 2008, the Ministry of Education issued 〈 The Setting and Managing Means for Independent Colleges ~, , and from the April that year, the independent college entered the five-year transition period. There still exist some difficult problems in the course of the idependent college＇ s turning setting and reform, which still want to be scientificly analized and seriously solved by the education department and the independent colleges, so as to maintain a good developing momentum of the independent colleges.
