民国初期中华书局的“八大杂志”

The "Eight Magazines" of Zhonghua Book Company in the Early Republic of China

民国初期,中华书局与商务印书馆竞争创办了多种深受读者欢迎的优秀杂志,其中《大中华》、《中华教育界》、《中华妇女界》、《中华实业界》等八种杂志风行一时,颇具影响,号称"八大杂志"。这"八大杂志"的创建,为民国初期中国社会寻求正确的发展方向,在思想和观念上起了先导作用,是不可多得的近代文化遗产。

At the early stage of the Republic of China, Zhonghua Book Company founded various outstanding magazines. All these magazines were well received at that time. Among these magazines, eight kinds of magazines were the most outstanding, which includ- ed Great China, Chinese Educational Circle, Chinese Society of Women, Chinese Business Circles, and so on. These eight magazines were also known as ＂Eight Magazines＂. The creation of the ＂Eight Magazines＂ defined right direction for development of Chinese society at that time, and thus are significant culture heritage for modern China.
