This paper elaborates the background,necessity and principle of constructing Chengde tourist resources characteristic database as well as the construction idea,framework and methods of vocational college library characteristic resources.And it aims at serving the college teaching and scientifi c research,and meanwhile serving the local economy and culture development on the basis of both the status quo and development of Chengde tourist resources and self-construction characteristic database resources of Hebei Tourism Vocational College.
