According to the stone road cutting excavation of DT2 along Tonghua-Guanshui railway, the paper introduces the application and the active significance for the smooth blasting construction technique in controlling the slope formation and the millisecond blasting in the aspects of lowering the seismic effect and the safety protection, so as to enhance the extension for the smooth blasting technique in future railway construction programs.
