A Cognitive Construal of the Subjectivity of Pragmatic Presuppositions

从认知视角研究语用预设是一种新尝试。语用预设的主观性可从说话人的主观思想、说话人预设中的评估性、说话人的说话视角等几个方面来探讨。语用预设的主观性导致了语用预设在具体语境中的动态性、不确定性等特点,也进一步验证了语言的主观性是普遍存在的。

Recent years have witnessed a new perspective to the study of pragmatic presuppositions in terms of cognitive pragmatics.This paper adopts such an approach in studying the subjectivity of pragmatic presuppositions.The subjective features of pragmatic presuppositions can be studied from the aspects of the content of mind,the evaluative and evidential functions and the perspective of the speaker.The conclusion is that the scope of pragmatic presuppositions should be enlarged and the new theoretical paradigms adopted.Only in this way can we advance the study of pragmatic presuppositions.
