摘要
本文运用定量和质性的研究方法,在一、二年级跟踪研究的基础上,继续考察三、四年级大学生的英语学习者认同变化。研究对象是一所涉外文科院校2005级非英语专业学生。结果表明,高年级阶段的学习者认同继续发生的变化,与基础阶段基本一致,但又有所不同。自信认同的变化并不显著;出现显著增长的削减性和生产性文化认同变化在程度上继续加深,且范围有所拓宽。
A continuation of a report of a longitudinal study,this paper traces English learning and self-identity changes with some Chinese students in their last two years of a four-year college study.The subjects were the 2005-year non-English majors from an institute of arts concerned with foreign relations in Beijing.The results reveal that while identity development tendencies were largely consistent with those of the freshmen and sophomore years,some differences did emerge.Compared with the first two years,the identity change in 'self-confidence' was not significant,while the cultural identity changes of the 'subtractive' and 'productive' kind significantly increased,deepened and widened.
