摘要
介绍了未来星际通讯用Ka波段30W空间行波管的最新研究进展。行波管电子枪采用传统的皮尔斯型电子枪,高频结构采用螺旋线慢波结构和品型夹持结构,为了保证较高的收集极效率,采用四级降压收集极。测试结果表明在工作频带内行波管输出功率超过34.6W,总效率超过47.5%。当行波管工作于低频状态时,行波管总效率超过了50%,已达到目前国外同等功率量级Ka波段空间行波管研究水平。
This paper describes the performance of a new Ka-band 30 W Space TWT which will be used for satellite communication in the future.The Piece gun and helix slow-wave structure are used in the TWT.The helix is supported by three dialectical rods.In order to get higher efficiency,four-stage depression collector is designed in this paper.The test results indicate that the saturation output power is more than 34.6 W and the efficiency beyond 47.5% in the working bandwidth.Especially working in the low frequency,the efficiency can achieve more than 50%,which has already reached the international highest performance of Ka-band Space TWTs with the same power.
