Lu Xun and Qilu Traditional Culture

齐鲁传统文化在中华区域文化中占据着极其重要的地位,以孔孟学说为核心的儒家文化代表了齐鲁文化的根基,并且出了第一部关于孝道的专论《孝经》。鲁迅一向对传统文化持批判态度,尤其是封建宗法制度中的忠恕、孝悌观念,然而儒家文化中强调的积极入世、忧国忧民的精神,厚德仁民的人道精神,经世致用的救世精神又深深影响着鲁迅,齐鲁文化中名人、传说也成为鲁迅笔下的创作资源。鲁迅作为现代知识分子,对齐鲁传统文化的态度本身就是充满矛盾的。

Qilu Traditional culture occupies a very important position in the Chinese regional culture. The Confucian culture, with the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius at the core, represents the foundation of Qilu culture, and has produced the first monograph on filial piety, ＂Book of Filial Piety＂. Lu Xun has always been critical of the traditional culture, especially the concepts of loyalty and forgiveness and of filial piety in the feudal patriarchal clan. However, some spirits emphasized in the Confucian culture, such as active involvement in the world, concern for the nation and people, the spirit of humanity and the spirit of salvation, have a profound impact on Lu Xun. The celebrities and the legends in Qilu culture have become Lu Xun＇s creative resources. As a modern intellectual, Lu Xun has formed attitudes full of contradictions towards the Qilu traditional culture.
