Galectin-3蛋白在鼻咽癌组织的表达及其临床意义

The expression of Galectin-3 protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and its clinical significance

目的探讨Galectin-3蛋白在鼻咽癌组织的表达及其临床意义。方法采用免疫组化的方法检测Galectin-3蛋白在94例鼻咽癌和50例慢性鼻咽炎组织中的表达,分析Galectin-3蛋白的表达差异,以及其与临床病理参数和复发转移的关系。结果鼻咽癌患者肿瘤组织中的Galectin-3阳性表达率显著高于慢性鼻咽炎患者的鼻咽组织(60.6%vs 36.0%,χ2=7.939,P=0.005)。T4期患者的Galectin-3阳性表达率显著高于T1期患者(75.0%vs40.0%,χ2=4.778,P=0.029),而Ⅰ期、Ⅱ期、Ⅲ期和Ⅳ期的Galectin-3阳性表达率分别为0、48.3%、61.8%和78.6%(χ2=10.269,P=0.016)。Galectin-3表达阳性的鼻咽癌患者中复发转移率明显高于表达阴性的患者(24.6%vs 5.4%,χ2=5.829,P=0.016)。结论 Galectin-3蛋白与鼻咽癌发生、发展、复发和转移密切相关。

Objective To explore the expression of Galectin-3 protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma（NPC） and its clinical significance.Methods Galectin-3 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry technique in the tissues of 94 NPC and 50 chronic nasopharyngitis patients.The different expression of Galectin-3 protein and its relationships with clinicopathological parameters,recurrence and metastasis were analyzed.Results The Galectin-3 expression rate in patients with NPC was significantly higher than in patients with chronic nasopharyngitis（60.6% vs 36.0%,χ2=7.939,P=0.005）.The Galectin-3 expression rate in stage T4 NPC patients was significantly higher than in stage T1 patients（75.0% vs 40.0%,χ2=4.778,P=0.029）,while the Galectin-3 expression rates in stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ patients were 0,48.3%,61.8% and 78.6% respectively（χ2=10.269,P=0.016）.The recurrence and metastasis rate in NPC patients with Galectin-3 expression was significantly higher than in patients without Galectin-3 expression（24.6% vs 5.4%,χ2=5.829,P=0.016）.Conclusion Galectin-3 protein is closely related with the occurrence,development,recurrence and metastasis of NPC.
