试论《红楼梦》中饮食文化翻译的异化

On the Alienation of Translation of the Food Culture in The Dream of Red Mansions

文化因素影响翻译质量。异化和归化是文化层面翻译的主要方法,也是译界久争不休的一个话题。在文化翻译中,异化和归化总是摆在翻译策略的第一位,《红楼梦》两种英译本饮食文化的翻译效果,表明在饮食文化及其他文化翻译时,应尽量采用异化,以促进文化的迅速及有效传播。

Cultural factors affect the quality of translation.Foreignization and domestication are the main methods of cultural translation,which is an issue with endless argument in translation field.In the cultural translation,foreignization and domestication are the first strategies to choose.The translation effect of the food culture in two English virsions of The Dream of Red Mansions shows that,in translating food culture and other cultures,foreignization should be adopted as much as possible to promote the rapid and effective dissemination of culture.
