世界上的每一种语言由于根植于不同的文化背景下,而体现着不同的文化内容。英汉两个民族由于在生态环境、宗教信仰等方面的不同,民族文化也就迥然不同。语言是文化的一部分,只有掌握好文化背景,才能教好语言,因此,必须将语言和文化教学有机地结合起来。

Every language in the world reflects different cultural content as rooted in different cultural backgrounds.English and Chinese cultures are very different due to different national and ecological environment,religious belief and other aspects of culture.Language is part of the culture.Only by mastering the cultural backgrounds can language teaching be done successfully.Therefore,language and culture teaching must be organically integrated.
