A Comment on the Causes of Du Fu's Staying in Qinzhou on the Journey to the West ——Concurrently Discussing the Problems Existing in the Study of Du Fu's Poems Written in Qinzhou and the Proper Value Orientation

西征客秦的问题是杜甫陇右之行和杜甫陇右诗研究的一个极为重要的问题。在这一问题的研究上,学者多所意见。一些意见虽给人触动或启示,但整体看来许多研究却彰显不足和问题。问题主要有二:一是证据不足,更多发挥想象;二是背离诗歌本体立场,文学本身的思考太过缺乏。其中第二点最为突出,它亦是整个中国学界古典文学研究中极为常见的问题。回归问题本身,理想的研究应该注意这样两个原则:第一,在各种可能因素构成的复杂场域中分析对象,思考话题。第二,坚守文学的本位立场,通过文学价值的建构派生或寻找其他价值。

Du Fu＇s staying in Qinzhou on the journey to the West is a very important issue in the study of Du＇s visit to Qinzhou and his poems written there. There have appeared several comments, but generally they have some problems. First, these comments cannot offer convincing evidence, but full of imaginations; second, these comments deviate from the poetic standpoint and in short of literary thinking. In terms of the issue itself, the ideal study should pay due attention to these two principles： first, analyze the object and ponder over the issue in the complicated situation composed of different possibilities; second, hold fast to the literary standpoint and construct literary value in the hope of finding other values.
