With the evolution of the new services and the continuous demands of the bandwidth and under the background of ＂fiber instead of copper＂, EPON＋ADSL, a new-style networking model, is put forward. This model can satisfy the users＂ needs, save the investment of the operators and ensure the benefits. Voice quality is an important issue under the EPON＋ADSL model. This paper introduces the model, does an in depth analysis of the factors which influence the voice quality and provides some reference for the relevant research.
