Take "Principle" as Foundation and Build China's New Paradigm of "Harmonious Rise"

国际体系的转型正由量变转向质变。新兴大国成功替代旧霸权国的范式必须与时代的精神与物质本质相符合。世界第二大经济体的地位,给中国提出了更大的机遇和挑战,近年来中国面临"被"负责任的境地,中国必须善于应对,变被动为主动。中国外交正处于从"和平"向"和谐"深化的新出发点,如果中国希望在21世纪的角逐中胜出,就必须跳出大国权力博弈的陈旧逻辑,超越西方的"权力"价值,以"理"为本,用特色鲜明的新话语、新手段、新路径,构建中国"和谐崛起"的新范式。

The transformation of the international system is shifting from quantitative change into qualitative change. The paradigm of new powers successfully replacing old hegemonic powers must correspond with the spirit and material of the times. The status of the world＇ s second largest economy brings China more opportunities and challenges. In recent years, China has been in a position of ＂being forced＂ to take responsibility, however, China needs to actively deal with international responsibility and transform passivity into initiative. China＇ s diplomacy is at the new starting point which is deepening from ＂peace＂ into ＂harmony＂. If China wants to win the great power game in the 21st century, it must throw out the old logic of the game, transcend the western ＂power＂ value, take ＂principle＂ as the foundation, and build the new paradigm of China＇ s ＂ Harmonious Rise＂ with distinctive new discourse, means and approach.
