一种车牌定位与提取方法

摘要 本文提出一种基于边缘检测和行扫描相结合的车牌定位与提取算法:主要通过Sobel算子提取原始图像的边缘信息,然后通过水平和垂直扫描进行粗定位,最后根据车牌的特征进行精确定位。 An arithmetic is proposed here that it is based on edge detection and license plate location.The edge information can be extracted from a vehicle image by using Sobel arithmetic operator,and a row scan method is used to locate the up and down edges and the left and right edges of the plate.Finally,the precise location is gained on the characteristic of the plate.
