摘要 There is a private museum in Gaobeidian Township, in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, with the theme "Inscribed Boards of the Imperial Civil Examination."Covering 3,000 square meters, the museum was officially opened to the public The imperial civil examination was a system for the selection of civil servants in ancient China, which had a profound influence on Chinesesociety and culture as well as on civil service systems across the world. Starting in the year CE 605 and ending in 1905, the imperial examination system boasts a history of over 1,300 years.
