幼儿园心理健康教育的目标是维护婴幼儿的心理健康。婴幼儿心理健康的标志是动作发展总体符合常模；语言运用符合语境；热爱游戏，善于游戏；情绪明朗，善于表达情感：年龄特征明显；能很快适应环境的变化。维护婴幼儿的心理健康，有赖于幼儿园实施良好的公民教育。而称职的幼儿园教师则是维护婴幼儿心理健康的保障。教师要结合日常工作．争取家长和全社会的支持，随时随地进行心理健康教育，同时又要把握心理健康教育的本质，不能把教育问题与治疗问题相混淆。
