摘要
西方现代舞传入中国,如果从20世纪初裕容龄算起已经有一百多年了,即使从吴晓邦以公共文化形式将现代舞带入中国的1931年算起,中国现代舞也已有80年的历史,然而由于中国现当代独特的政治经济文化环境等因素,现代舞在很长一段时间内的存在状态只能用不绝如缕来描述。但这种情况在20世纪60年代前后的台湾地区现代化改革、香港地区20世纪70年代开始的高速发展以及20世纪80年代以来的大陆现代化建设全面进行的历史背景中大大改变,现代舞也因此在中国成为表达人们的现代经验、反思文化和舞蹈传统、构建人们现代审美经验的重要艺术形式。但大陆、台湾、香港不同的文化背景和现代化进程也决定了现代舞在这三个地区的发展中形成了自己独特的文化精神。本文将以此为研究对象,考察两岸三地现代舞所形成的相互联系又各不相同的文化特点。
Western modern dance has been introduced in China for over 100 years if it was considered to start from an early Chinese dancer Ms Yu Rongling at the turning of the 20th century. Even if it was considered to start from 1931 when Mr. Wu Xiaobang introduced modern dance in the form of public culture, modern dance in China has been carried on for over 80 years. However, due to the special political, economic and cultural environment in contemporary China, modern dance has been developed unsteadily for a long time. Things changes greatly during 1960s in Taiwan, 1970s in Hong Kong and 1980s in China's Mainland, where modernized reforms with advanced development have been fully undertaken. Therefore modern dance has become an important art form for Chinese people to express their contemporary experience, reflect their culture and dance tradition as well as construct contemporary aesthetic experience. Different culture backgrounds and different progress of modernization in China's Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong determine the separate cultural spirit of each place in their own modern dance. This is the focus of the paper, examining the distinct but related cultural features of modern dance in three different places.
