Taking the design and application of special paper materials in modem packaging design, it analysed the category and characteristics of special paper materials. Combined with application cases, it discussed the unique value of special paper materials as raw materials for packaging design. As a method of packaging design, designer should be familiar with the characteristics of papers and master of process, then the paper used will meet the business requirements and be consistent with the art aesthetic.
