摘要
产业聚集对区域创新绩效的影响是通过技术溢出机制发生作用的。研究目的有三个:第一,探讨产业聚集即生产行为空间聚集所产生的多样化溢出、专业化溢出以及竞争等对区域创新绩效的影响是否存在?影响程度如何?第二,区域范围内研发行为的多样化、专业化程度的不同是否也会对区域创新绩效存在影响?第三,产业聚集对区域创新绩效的影响是单调递增的吗?是否存在最佳聚集程度?以我国医药制造业省级面板数据为例的实证研究结果显示,产业多样化、竞争对创新有正面影响;研发行为的多样化对区域创新绩效的影响不显著;就业密度对区域创新绩效的影响呈倒U型,就业密度达到600人/平方公里左右时人均专利拥有数达到最高;区域人口规模对区域创新绩效的影响呈U型,区域人口总规模在达到6 000万人以前随人口规模的扩大区域创新绩效不断下降,以后随人口规模的扩大区域创新效率随之提高。
The aim of the paper is to assess the best extent to which the degree of knowledge spillover affects the innovative output in a particular local industry. The analysis is carried out based on the data from medical and pharmaceutical products manufacturing in China. The econometric analysis shows that the density presents positive effect on regional innovation and the high -point is about 600 people every square kilometer. A region with a more competitive market structure or more than 60 million people will also have a higher patent intensity. These findings confirm the widely - held view that the nation＇ s densest location plays an important role in creating the flow of ideas that generate innovation and growth.
