中国共产党成立90年来,党的建设伟大工程的总体布局经历了一个不断发展完善的过程。以毛泽东同志为核心的党的第一代领导集体创立了党的思想建设、组织建设、作风建设"三位一体"的基本布局;以邓小平同志为核心的党的第二代领导集体更加注重党的制度建设,使党的建设发展为"四位一体"的基本布局;以江泽民同志为核心的党的第三代领导集体,以"三个代表"重要思想为指导,突出党的先进性建设和执政能力建设;以胡锦涛为总书记的党中央,以改革创新的精神全面推进党的建设新的伟大工程,形成了"以党的执政能力建设和先进性建设为主线"、思想建设、组织建设、作风建设、制度建设、反腐倡廉建设"五位一体"的党建总体布局。

Since the Communist Party of China （CPC） was established 90 years ago, the party＇s overall layout of has undergone a continuous development and improvement process. Comrade Mao Zedong as the core of the party＇s first-generation collective leadership created the party＇s ideological construction, organizational development, and work style. Comrade Deng Xiaoping as the core of the party＇s second generation of leaders paid more attention to building the party system. Comrade Jiang Zemin as the core of the party＇s third-generation leadership highlighted the party＇s advanced nature and governance capability with the theory of ＂Three Represents＂ as guidance.
