Narrative Medicine:A New Perspective on Medical Humanities

叙事医学指用叙事能力来实践的医学,又称基于叙事的医学。从四个方面简述叙事医学的基本原理:医学知识的叙事结构、医学叙事的基本类型、疾病意义的叙事阐释、医疗伦理的叙事视角。叙事医学旨在调整日益紧张的医患关系,聆听被科学话语所排斥的患者声音,同时作为一种实践理性干预患者的治疗或康复,从另一种视角为生物医学伦理学提供实践基础。

Narrative medicine, also known as narrative-based medicine, designates medicine pracriced with narrative competence. The rationale of narrative medicine is elucidated in four aspects： narrative structure of medical knowledge, basic genre of medical narrative, narrative interpretation of illness meaning, and narrative perspective on medical ethics. Narrative medicine aims to improve doctor--patient relationship by listening to patient voice and provide a practical basis for biomedical ethics by intervening in patient care and rehabilitation.
