Comparing with the traditional horizontal cylinder tank, the author analyses the advantages of the multi-cone horizontal tank, and elaborates the unloading principle and designing methods of the new structure, which not only decreases the production costs while increasing the effective volume of the tank, but also reduces the unladen mass and improves the economical index.
