Centennial Ying Shan Memorial Hall——The transition from a reading abode to library

影山草堂为独山莫友芝童年读书场所,后迁遵义成为藏书室,三迁南京(江宁),成为江南著名藏书楼之一,友芝借以研治目录学、金石学和文字学,著述等身。其子孙迁往扬州,藏书被逐渐卖尽。

Ying Shan Memorial Hall was the place where Mo Youzhi of Dushan studied in his childhood. It was first moved to Zunyi and became a library, then moved to Nanjing （Jiangrting） and thus became one of the famous libraries in south of the Yangtze Rive. Mo Youzhi devoted his life to bibliography, epigraphy and etymology, and had a great number of works. Mo Youzhi＇ s offspring moved to Yangzhou and the books were sold out gradually.
