Management for the overseas Chinese students in Japan in the end of the Qing Dynasty is an important problem for Chinese government.This article discusses the management for overseas Chinese students in Japan and analyzes the roles those students played duringperiod of staying in Japan from the perspectives of the historical background,the school education,the government management for students studying abroad.
