浅析潮汕方言对学生英语语音的影响

A Tentative Analysis on Negative Transfer of Chaoshan Dialect in Students' English Pronunciation

作为汉语的一种地域变体,潮汕方言有其自身的特点,与英语在发音上差别很大,给以潮汕方言为母语的学生在英语语音的学习上造成困难。着重从元音、辅音、声调和连读四个角度探讨潮汕方言对学生英语语音的负迁移作用,强调在英语语音教学中帮助学生摆脱潮汕方言对英语语音负面影响的重要性。

Chaoshan dialect belongs to Chinese-Tibet language system and is quite different from English in phonetics,which results in difficulty for the acquisition of English pronunciation.This paper analyses the negative transfer of Chaoshan dialect in students＇ English pronunciation in vowels,consonants,intonation and liaison,and emphasizes the significance of helping students get rid of the influence of Chaoshan dialect in English pronunciation while teaching phonetics.
