The book Family appellation by Zhengzhen of Qing Dynasty is a book about Family appellations of successive dynasties. It＇s a dictionary, which paid much attention on integrated application of Chinese characters, phonology, critical interpretation of ancient texts and ancient documents, referenced the ancient and temporal dialects, and had corpus of many kinds and paid much attention on the spoken -language documents. It has much values on the study of culture history, language and lexicography.
