摘要
杜威"从做中学"教学原则既注重满足学生的兴趣和能力的自我展现,也注重环境和学科知识对学生心智的训练和心灵的塑造,对培养学生实践活动能力和综合素质的提高等方面有许多借鉴作用。因此,笔者对杜威"从做中学"教学原则的内涵做了详细介绍,并结合英语教学案例,论述了杜威"从做中学"的教学原则对英语教学的启示。
The teaching principle of Learning by doing from Dewey focuses not only on meeting the students' interest of learning and desire to demonstrate their ability,but also on their mental development in the environments through academic knowledge acquisition,and it can be used as a reference for cultivating the students' practice ability and enhancing their synthesis quality.Therefore,the author elaborates the essence and significance of this teaching principle and,by means of English classroom teaching cases,discusses its implications to our middle school English teaching.
