Wave energy research in global oceans based on ICOADS wave data

利用ICOADS海浪资料对全球海域波浪能的分布特征进行评估,主要分析了波浪能的四季分布特征和涌浪指标,同时还发现全球海域存在6大涌浪池,为波浪能利用及波浪发电的选址提供参考。

The distribution characters of global oceans wave energy was evaluated by ICOADS wave data. The seaaonal characteristics of wave energy and swell index were analyzed, which could provide reference for the choice of wave energy power generation site. Meantime, six swell pools were found to exist in global oceans.
