An Exploration on Overseas Chinese Repatriation to Singapore and Malaya after the World War II

抗战期间,大批新马华侨回国参加抗日救亡运动,同时亦有大量难侨避战火回到国内。二战结束,他们急需返回原侨居地,重振家业。在复杂的国际国内形势下,当时的中国政府积极制定遣送侨民办法,有序地开展华侨遣返工作,最终得以基本完成。

During the Anti-Japanese War in China,a large number of overseas Chinese from Singapore and Malaya came to China for resisting Japanese movement.Meanwhile,a large number of Chinese refugees from Singapore and Malaya also came to China in order to avoid the war.After the World War II,all of whom were eager to return to the original residence for reviving their possessions.Under the complex international and domestic situation,the Guomindang Government still actively made measures for the ordering repatriattion of the overseas Chinese to Singapore and Malaya,and finally,the work completed successfully.
