摘要
大规模地形场景的实时绘制在虚拟现实、地理信息系统、战场仿真等领域有着广泛的应用。为满足海上搜救模拟器直升机单元视景系统的需求,对大规模地形场景的建模与实时绘制技术进行了研究。利用Google Earth获取地形数据,使用ArcScene构建三维地形,并在Creator中设置多级LOD以保证绘制的实时性,同时利用Get-Screen软件获取与地形相对应的纹理数据,并将纹理映射到三维地形上,最终运用OSG软件对地形场景进行实时绘制。试验表明提出的方法可实现大规模地形场景的高效逼真绘制。
The real-time rendering of large-scale terrain environment has been broadly applied to VR,GIS,military simulation,etc.In order to meet the need of the marine search and rescue simulator for helicopter unit visual systems,this paper researches on modeling and the real-time rendering technology of large-scale terrain environment.The three-dimensional terrain environment is created by ArcScene,and multi level LOD is create in Creator for real-time rendering.The terrain data are obtained from Google Earth,meanwhile,the texture data which match with terrain environment are obtained with GetScreen.Finally,real-time rendering is realized by using OSG.The experiments show it is possible to realize the real-time rendering of large-scale terrain environment with the methods introduced in this paper.
