Since the 'separation of management from maintenance' implemented in June 2000,the bid inviting mode has been always adopted for the maintaining market in Songjiang District of Shanghai.It is also the bidding and tendering mode commonly adopted for the maintaining markets in various districts and counties now.From the practices for some years,the article finds out that its disadvantages are larger than its advantages if the maintaining market is completely opened for implementing the public bidding and tendering mode.The article analyzes the superiority of bid inviting mode in the operation of maintaining market,and considers the bid invitation adopted for the maintaining market is only one feasible mode under the present condition.
