摘要
泉州拥有极具竞争力的旅游资源,但互联网旅游外宣现状不尽如人意,其旅游外宣翻译存在明显功能性缺陷,并未展现出网络在外宣方面所独具的优势。鉴于互联网外宣的特点,以及充分考虑传播学视角下影响旅游外宣翻译传播效果的众多因素,旅游外宣翻译借助互联网可有效完善其现有功能,使其信息传递更具简洁性、可读性和召唤性,从而达到旅游外宣的预期目的。
Quanzhou boasts abundant tourism resources, which unfortunately fail to be well-publicized in English online. In this paper the author wants to analyze the different factors contributing to the English translation of tourist publicity materials from the perspective of communicative theories and points out that, based on the features of intemet publicity, the intemet can impeove the English translation in terms of brevity, readability and voeativeness.
