Targeting at the defects existed in conventional gas cutting method and gas cutting equipments, considering the improvementof accuracy with the combination of multi-function, design idea of magnetic-gas and structure of gear and rack were used to design a multi-function magnetic-gas cutting machine. The machine was precise, easy portable and operational. Its structure, characteristics and realization methods of various functions were introduced in detail.
