文化精神是指一个国家民族文化中占主导地位的价值观念与行为特征的总和,从文化精神入手研究文化问题是一个重要的方法论原则;研究中国传统文化精神首先要研究制约中国传统文化形成与发展的外缘与内因;中国传统文化的基本精神主要包括以人为本、崇德重义、持中贵和、实践理性四个方面;创造性地开挖利用中国传统文化精神资源对当今中国和谐社会建设的价值,主要体现在对社会稳定、政治民主、经济发展、精神文明与生态文建设等方面的作用。
