重钢三高炉进人末期炉役后炉喉钢砖炸裂变形、上部砖衬侵蚀严重、冷却壁烧坏多块，出现炉况不顺，生产技术指标下滑；通过冷却壁检漏与修复、操作制度的研究与调整、炉身上部喷涂、提高烧结矿筛分效率等措施，使三高炉炉况顺行明显好转，主要技术经济指标大幅度改善。
