基于系统功能语法的主位推进模式分析《Wavin’ Flag》

Thematic Progression Model and the Analysis of Wavin' Flag

以系统功能语法理论为依据,拟从主位推进角度对比研究索马里裔加拿大歌手K’ naan创作的两个版本的《Wavin’ Flag》。通过分析,发现两首作品在主位同一型、述位同一型、延续型方面存在一定的差异,在交叉型方面划分结果相同,从而揭示主位推进模式对于歌词的研究具有现实意义。

This paper takes a functional approach to the study of the two versions of Wavin＇ Flag created by singer K＇naan.It attempts to analyze the texts from the perspective of thematic progression.There exist certain differences between the two versions of the song in parallel progression,focused progression and continuous progression.And no differences have been disclosed in overlapped progression pattern.It reveals that the thematic progression model is of practical significance in analyzing lyrics.
