A Brief Commentary on Liu Deren's Poet Partners

刘得仁,中晚唐诗人,长期生活于长安通济里。刘得仁家世显赫,母亲为顺宗之女云安公主,父亲为战功显赫的泾原节度使刘昌之子刘士泾。刘得仁一生追求科考功名,但"困于举场二十年",科举考试始终没有成功。在追求科举功名的同时,刘得仁长期居住在长安通济里,积极结交诗友,锤炼诗艺,在诗歌创作上取得了较高的艺术成就。与之结交的诗友主要有雍陶、姚合、无可、丁居晦等人,诗风也与之相近。

Liu Deren,a poet lived in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.As a poet,he lived in Chang an TongJI LI in a long time.Liu Deren was born in the family that had wealth and social position.His mother was the YunAn princess,a daughter of ShunZong.His father was Liu Shijing,a son of Liu Chang that had lots of battle achievements and a grandeur position as the governorship of Jingyuan.Liu Deren was frustrated in the imperial civil examinations about 20 years,but he was failed from beginning to end.At the same time,Liu Deren had some poet partners,such as Yong Tao,Yao He,Wu Ke,Ding Juhui and so on.As a member of a poet group headed by Yao He and Jia Dao,Liu Deren learned on experiences from them and had similar ideological pursuits with them,then his artistic style was formed.
