On the New Changes of Contemporary International Higher Education from the Historical Development of the University Concept

大学理念自产生以来,经历了早期大学理念的萌芽、洪堡与纽曼的经典大学理念变革以及大学实用化理念的广泛推行等三个发展阶段,促使大学理念发展变革的深层动力是社会发展需求的变化。20世纪下半叶以来,随着科学技术的快速发展,社会发展中的新问题不断涌现,这又促使当代国际高等教育在结构层次、培养目标、教学理念、教学内容、教学模式、教学质量等方面发生了重大变化。

Since the concept of university concept was produced, it has experienced three development stages： appearance of the early university concept, the revolution of Humboldt and Newman＇s classic university concept , and the wide implementation of university practical idea, in which the deep motivation is the change of social development and needs; since the latter half of the 20th century, the rapid development of science and technology, emergence of new problems in social development, result in Significant changes of contem- perary international higher education in many areas such as structure level , training objectives, teaching concept, teaching content, teaching mode, teaching quality, and so on.
