目前我国的基础教育尤为关注以社会为本,培养工具性人才,这在一定程度上促进了社会发展、经济进步,但却忽视了基础教育满足人自由全面发展的重要功能。人的全面发展理论阐释了什么是人的全面自由发展,也阐释了如何促进人全面自由发展,这对改善基础教育在促进人的全面发展上具有很大的启示性。
